Our journey started Saturday morning towards NY – 4.5h ahead of us. It actually went by pretty fast, traffic wasn’t that bad and we had a great view of NYC’s skyline once we got closer to the city. When we arrived in Long Island we were all tired from the car ride so we only went to a playground nearby. I had the boys in the evening since my host parent went out with my hd’s uncle and aunt but since their daughter and her friend were there as well we all entertained the boys and it was actually a lot of fun. We ordered pizza for dinner, gave the boys a bath and put them to bed.
On Sunday we went to the Bronx Zoo :) which was only 15 minutes away by car. The zoo was huge, weather great and we had an awesome day. Later on my hd and his uncle went to a Red Sox game and we went home to have dinner and watch some TV before it was time to go to bed. My night was a little “fitful” :D B. and I both slept on a pull-out couch and apparently B. needs more space than I do :DAnyways, on Monday we left to Utica where we arrived after about 5 hours on the road :)
