Of course it was raining again on Friday. For some reason it always rains on the days that B. doesn’t have camp but we had a great time. We played at home and painted some pictures while N. was sleeping and went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch later on. The boys had so much fun even though it was a little hard for N. here and there because he wanted to do all the “big boy” things B. was doing :D
J took over when we came back home and we all just hung out. After dinner Ann-Christin and went to the movies but there was nothing on that we wanted to watch so we drove around hoping to find Dairy Queens because they were supposed to have the best ice cream there. We used the GPS on my phone and I don’t know what we did but we somehow ended up in the mall :D First we thought that DQ is in there but it wasn’t…so we tried again and this time the GPS brought us to Natick where we also found DQ :) We both had a Oreo Earthquake Brownie Sundae – it was SOOOO delicious but way too big :D

Saturday we went to Target, had lunch at Panera and then (again) off to Shoppers World :) We found a new store there, well, we actually have been in there before but last time we thought they only had weird clothes. Anyway, around 3pm we brought Ann-Christin’s car to her place, got a Frappuccino at Starbucks on the way to my place where we had to pick up S’mores my hm made for me to bring to a bbq at a friend’s house. Around 5 we went to Stephie’s place where we had a nice bbq with some other Au Pairs (of course all German). We had a lot of fun and got a looooot of information about the Au Pair year, the area, college classes etc. Well, later on we had to say god bye to Larissa as well who was going to start her travel month the next day and then back to Germany:(
Sunday morning we had to get up early for our Cluster Meeting: this time Whale Watching in Boston.
Let’s say that it was just OK. The weather sucked and it was freezing cold on the boat but we got to see a few whales :) We stayed in Boston for a bit afterwards and then went back home where I went straight to bed, chilled through and exhausted.
Today (Monday)was perfect weather so I took the boys to a playground nearby where we met a German family who was here on vacation and the kids played together for quite a long time. Back at home both boys took a nap and it was almost time for J to take over.
